Private Charity Vintner Dinner featuring Broadbent Selections | April 30, 2021

Charlotte Wine + Food Board Member, Bob Barnhart and his wife Susan, along with Jeff Blake and his wife Roxanne sponsored an invite-only charity wine and food experience featuring an international selection of wines from revered importer Broadbent Selections. The evening included a reception followed by a tasting flight of wines paired with cheese and charcutierie culminating with a three-course meal prepared by Chef Jeff Blake. Broadbent’s Director of Education and Master Sommelier, Max Kast, was on hand to guide guests through this wine tasting journey around the world. Featured wines included 2015 Gusbourne Brut Reserve | Kent, England; 2019 Tyrrell’s Semillon | Hunter Valley, Australia; 2019 Badenhorst Secateur Chenin Blanc | Swartland, South Africa; 2017 Spy Valley Pinot Noir | Marlborough, New Zealand; 2017 Badenhorst Family White | Swartland, South Africa; 2013 Château Musar Rouge | Bekaa Valley, Lebanon; and Broadbent Verdelho 10-Year Madeira | Portugal.

All proceeds benefited GenOne, Mitchell’s Fund, The Learning Collaborative, and The Relatives.
