Porcupine Provisions + Clos Solène Winery

Thanks to CW+F Chairman Emeritus, Palmer Steel and his wife Maria, for hosting an unforgettable in-home dinner and for welcoming Clos Solène Winery along with the winery’s special guest Guillaume Fabre, Owner and Winemaker. A multi-course menu was created to pair with the wines by CW+F Board Member, Leslie Schlernitzauer and her husband Bruce, proprietors of Porcupine Provisions. Special thanks to the homeowner hosts, David & Mary Francis, Maria Steel’s parents.

Featured dinner wines included the 2022 Homage Blanc, 2021 Harmonie, 2021 L’Insolent, 2021 Fleur de Solène, and 2020 Hommage à Nos Paris Reserve.

A brief live auction was held at the end of dinner including a signed magnum of the 2020 Hommage à Nos Paris Reserve and a Clos Solène Estate Tour Experience for four at the winery in Paso Robles. Through the generosity of all present, the dinner raised over $4,000.

All proceeds benefited A Child’s Place - a program of Thompson Child & Family Focus, Augustine Literacy Project, GenOne, and The Learning Collaborative.
