Charlotte Wine + Food Week presented by Truist hosted The Collectors Gala & Live Auction for the first time, limited to 150 of Charlotte Wine & Food’s most savvy patrons and wine collectors, held at The Ruth by Beau Monde. The experience started with a high-end wine and food tasting followed by a seated family-style meal and a robust and spirited live auction featuring the best lots CW+F Week had to offer, run by Auctioneer Dan Lyles, raising over $160,000 for local children’s charities! The highest-raising lots went for over $24,000! The evening included 17 serious and cellar-worthy wineries, multiple chefs, and a live jazz band - The Doug Vergato Band.
