Vintner Dinner at Counter-
featuring Antica Terra | April 16, 2024

Charlotte Wine + Food Week presented by Truist kicked off with a sold-out vintner dinner at Counter- featuring the wines of Antica Terra. Guests enjoyed 8 mini-courses in the style Counter- is known for, taking them on a tasting journey with Maggie Harrison - Co-owner and Winemaker of Antica Terra. Chef Sam Hart, proprietor of Counter-, and his team created a custom menu to pair with the wines.

Guests enjoyed an array of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines from Antica Terra including some extremely rare and limited selections chosen by Maggie especially for this dinner. Featured wines included the Aurata Chardonnay, Aequorin Chardonnay, Botanica Pinot Noir, Ceras Pinot Noir, Anthikythera Pinot Noir, Lillian Grenache, and Lillian Gold Series Syrah.

A surprise auction lot for a multi-course dinner for 12 featuring truffles, caviar, a vertical of Chateau Batailley - 2003, 2005, 2009, 2010, 2013, 2016, Antica Terra white wines and Tatenokawa Komyo Sake sold for $17,500!
