The Collectors Gala & Live Auction | April 19, 2024
Charlotte Wine + Food Week presented by Truist hosted its second annual Collectors Gala & Live Auction at The Union at Station West on Friday, April 19, 2024. Limited to 150 of Charlotte Wine + Food’s most savvy patrons and wine collectors, the experience started with a high-end wine and food tasting followed by a seated family-style meal by Chef Michael Bader from La-Tea-Da’s Catering. A robust and spirited live auction featuring the best lots CW+F Week had to offer was run by Auctioneer Dan Lyles and raised nearly $100,000 for local children’s charities! The highest-raising lots went for over $15,000! The evening included 16 serious and cellar-worthy wineries, multiple chefs, and a live jazz band - The Dave Vergato Quartet.
