Seminar: Local Women in Wine - The Price Is Right!
An Interacive Blind Tasting Experience| April 30, 2022

Guests joined Charlotte Wine + Food for an interactive blind tasting where their palette was the judge to determine if the “price is right”. Attendees tasted through 4 sets of wines from white to red, from $10 to $100 price points, and were challenged to guess the varietals, the region, and the price. Score sheets were collected and small prizes were awarded to those with the best scores. One of Charlotte’s most certified female wine educators, Sarah Malik, Wine & Spirit Educator at Johnson & Wales University was the game show host. There was also a surprise visit from 2022 Winemaker Honoree, Dr. Laura Catena, Managing Director at Bodega Catena Zapata. This was designed for all wine lovers, beginners to connoisseurs, that were ready to test their knowledge and ask questions to amazing Women in Wine.

Special thanks to our host Crista Csoka, Executive Chef and Owner of The Artisan’s Palate.
